        1. Nc5! attacks the R@e5 and threatens a fork @a6. Black can’t answer with 1. … exc5 due to 2. Rd7 attacking the queen and also threatening Qxf7+ with mate to follow.

        So Black is going to have to lose an exchange after 1. … Re7 2. Nxa6

        1. Nc5! (theatens 2. Nxa6 and 2. Nxe4) dxc5 2. Rd7 1-0 Black has to give up his Queen, otherwise he will be checkmated in a couple of moves.
