Beating Greek Stavrianakis is a big accomplishment. Staviranakis is the biggest talent in Greece since Kotronias retired, trained by all their grandmasters.

Ray is playing Sundar. Is Sundar related to the Humpy-Sundar match?

It’s sad that Wesley So didn’t make it to the World Juniors. No funding, apparently. His country is burdened by all sorts of calamities. Hope his World Cup trip won’t be sacrificed as well. Lack of money is destroying this kid’s progress. He doesn’t even have a coach.
