      Sommer-Open Baden-Baden 2012

      Chess tournament, Germany

      The Sommer-Open 2012 will take place on 6-10th August in Baden-Baden, Germany. The Open A is available for all players while Open B is reserved for the players rated U1700 DWZ. On 8th August there will be Chess960 Open.

      The playing system is 7 round Swiss, with time control 40 moves/120min + 30 min/rest. The playing venue is Crystal Hall of Chess Center LA8, Lichtentaler Allee 8, D-76530 Baden-Baden, Germany.

      With 180 entries the capacity of the playing hall is reached and the registration is closed.

      Prize fund: About 4,000 EUR (A-Open approx. 2,500 EUR, B-Open approx. 1,600 EUR)

      Dates: Registration 6th August 2012 until 13:30 h
      1st round: 6th August 15:00 h
      2nd/ 3rd round: 7th August 9:00 h + 15:00 h
      4th round: 8th August 9:00 h
      Chess960: 8th August 16:00 h
      5th / 6th round: 9th August 9:00 h + 15:00 h
      7th round: 10th August 9:00 h
