      Special anniversary for Chess Today

      Alex Baburin, Chess Today

      Dear Chess Friends,

As you know, Chess Today has reached another landmark – issue No 2500! We hope that our readership will grow – and this is where you can help – by spreading the word about CT. You’d be surprised to know how chess players never heard of Chess Today. Often, these are the players who would really benefit from reading and studying it.

So, please help to make CT more visible in the chess community – mention it in your blogs, ICC and PlayChess profiles and websites. Why not to print out 1-2 issues and bring it to your chess club? Or post it at a notice board at your next tournament? Every little bit helps – the more people know about Chess Today, the better!

As for CT-2500, please forward it to all your chess friends – most of them will surely appreciate it! Tell them that they can see more sample and learn more about Chess Today at our website – http://www.chesstoday.net/ Thank you in advance!

      With best regards,

      GM Alex Baburin

Congratulation to Alex and to the chess today stuff in their anniversary. I do much appreciate their high quality work and their devotion to what they do and love.

However I am not receiving chess today. I do enjoy their generous free copies now and then. The reason that I am not a member of chess today is connected to priorities; There is a lot of chess material on the internet and in my library that I don’t have time to observe it all so I don’t really feel that I need more or can digest more. And also I am not a top level player so I don’t feel that I must receive Chess Today. The last reason is economical. I think twice and thrice before I spend my money on chess. May be I make a wrong decision but this is I. There is a lot of free and good material available.

I hope that in the future I will join and pay whole heartedly for chess today. I remember that buying for myself something is investing in myself and I am important. Also it can have positive affect to pay for something than to get it for free. I get more out of what I pay for than from what I get for free.
