      SUSAN POLGAR FOUNDATION NATIONWIDE OPEN FOR GIRLS AND BOYS

      6SS, G/60 – Qualifier for the SPF Girls Invitational and FIDE World Youth Chess Championship 2015.

      MAIN EVENT: San Mateo Event Center, 1346 Saratoga Drive, San Mateo. Free Parking. $100,000+ in prizes (trophies, chess prizes, & scholarships) to individuals. School team trophies awarded to top 3 teams in each section.

      10 SECTIONS based on age and gender: Boys and Girls- U8, U10, U12, U14, U16/18.

      ROUND TIMES: Saturday & Sunday 9am, 11:30am, 2:30pm.

      TIME CONTROLS: All games will be G/60.

      ENTRY FEES: $45 if registered by 12/10. $60 if by 2/1. $80 after 2/1.

      SIDE EVENTS: 2/27

      – Q & A and 25 board Simul against GM Susan Polgar 6:30pm $25 if by 12/10, $40 by 2/1, $50 after 2/1. 2/28
      – Puzzle Competition (one section). 5-5:30pm Top 10 get trophies. $10 if by 12/10, $15 by 2/1, $20 after 2/1.
      – Blitz Tournament. From 5:45pm Top 10 get trophies. $10 if by 12/10, $15 by 2/1, $20 after 2/1. USCF Membership required for all sections and blitz tournament. January 2015 Supplement used. TD discretion to place players accurately.

      The venue is a 105,000 square foot exhibit hall at the San Mateo Event Center, which is located in the heart of Silicon Valley between San Francisco International Airport and Google Headquarters.
