        The United States of America and all its loud noise-making has only 2 GMs barely above 2700?

        How disappointing!!

        Hi Susan,

        Congratulations on being the highest rated female player in the US and 14th overall. Do you still play in tournaments? How do you maintain such a high ELO rating?

        Also, what do the color codes in the map indicate?

        I think it is a remarkable thing that you are actively playing in the circuit, doing great work for chess in the US, especially at Texas Tech and also blogging at an incredible rate! Other chess players should learn from you.

        I would like to see the Top US players that are actually growing up and playing in the US, not imported Top US players on this lists.
