      Team USA finally makes a move with a big 3.5 – 0.5 win over Egypt. Judit just as in round 1, saved Hungary. She scores a lone win for Hungary against Azerbaijan while others drew. Ukraine edges out India with a lone win by Moiseenko. Israel and China tie 2-2. Armenia ties Russia as Aronian beats Karjakin. Svidler evens up the score with a win over Sargissian.

        Judit Polgar, not Peter Leko, has been the leading Hungarian players for years. Judit had to take a maternity leave and her ratings dipped or remained stagnant.

        But Judit is the best, most exciting Hungarian player for years even while Leko was playing.

        I love Judit so much. Too bad she’s already taken. lol

        Mamedyarov is playing Board 4 now behind Mamedov? Is that correct? Azerbaijan has been employing this strategy of fielding Shak in the low boards for some time, but it has not reaped benefits. Maybe he should start playing Board 1 where he belongs.
