      US Open Women’s Final

      Kim Clijster, US Open Tennis

I am rooting for Kim Clijster to win the 2009 U.S. Open. It is great to see her wonderful comeback after around 2.5 year retirement. I believe she would be the first Mom to win a Grand Slam since Evonne Goolagong.

Most tennis “experts” said that Kim has no chance to go far or win the U.S. Open. The “experts” also said that I had no chance to have respectable results at the 2004 Calvia Olympiad after having 2 kids and nearly 9 year layoff.

So much for the “experts” 🙂 Go Kim!

I want to hear Susan say that Calvia was NOT her final Olympiad in her career. We want more great chess from Susan. Go Kim Clijsters!
