Karpov’s experiences at the pinnacle of chess make […]

Sicilian Defense – Vegas Poolside Blitz #4 – Will Stewart vs GM Henley
Posted on August 6, 2012 by William in All Articles w/ Videos, Blitz/Bullet Chess, Strategy & Game Review

The match climate was extremely tense going into the last round of regulation time – game 4. Game 1 was drawn after a tense battle, I won game 2 with Grandmaster Henley in time trouble, and game 3 was drawn after sharp play as well. I needed to win or draw game 4 to win the 2012 Las Vegas Poolside Blitz Invitational and all-out bragging rights for 1 year. However if GM Ron Henley could […]

Play The Benko Gambit With GM Lev Alburt!
Posted on August 4, 2012 by GM Ron W Henley in All Articles w/ Videos, Chess Openings, Strategy & Game Review

The Benko Gambit Against The Dlugy System With 5. f3!? In the Benko Gambit, black sacrifices a pawn very early to generate long-term counterplay on the A and B files. However, white has a mountain of options at his disposal. White can decline the Benko Gambit immediately, he can delay the capture of the a6-pawn, or he can simply ignore the Gambit and proceed with normal development in the center. GM Lev Alburt’s extensive experience […]

        Mr Karpov,
Dont your realize you have a good chance of becoming FIDE president if you dont have that ‘loose cannon’ Kasparov endorsing you.. He is an liability.. If you contest on your own ,trust this.. you would garner more votes..
