      World Junior 2013 in Hatay, Turkey

      Turkey, World junior championship




      The World Junior U20 Chess Championship 2013 will take place in Hatay, Türkiye, from 12th September (Arrival) to 27th September (Departure) 2013.

        I really don’t understand that the Turkish federation organizes the WK Junior under 20 so closely to the Syrian border.
        Many embassies advised not to travel to this area unless it is absolutely necessary.
        The fide congres has been moved to Baku but for youngsters under 20 it is not important to ensure their safety!!!!
        The Fide and the Turkish Chess Federation takes a big risk and is totally irresponsible to let go this tournament at that area.
