      World Women’s Chess Team Championship

      FIDE, Women's Team Championship


      The 1st World Women’s Team Chess Championship 2007 will take place from May 19 to 30 in Ekaterinburg, Russia. In accordance with the FIDE Regulations, women’s teams from 10 national federations will participate in the Championship. Among them – Ukraine, Russia, China, Armenia, Georgia, Netherlands, Poland and Vietnam. The venue of the games is Atrium Palace Hotel. It is also the hotel of accommodation of the teams.

      POL (4) vs BOT (0)
      RUS (3) vs GER (1)
      GEO (2½) vs CZE (1½)
      UKR (3) vs ARM (1)

        The USCF doesn’t support women’s chess. They have no money to send a team.
