      World Youth Championships 2008 – General Information

      The World Youth Championship will be held in Vung Tau, Vietnam from 19 to 31 October 2008. Participants are now starting to arrive and so the organisers are posting the following general information (also available on the official website http://wycc2008.vietnamchess.com/index/php and at www.chessasia.net).

        From several parents: the conditions in the playing hall “are not human. Went to complain to the organizers with no result”. The temperature inside the playing hall is over 90 degrees with air conditioning not working.
