      – Sarah Chiang has 7.5 points out of 9 and she is current tied for 1st in the girl’s under 10 section.
      – Daniel Naroditsky has 7.5 points and he is 1/2 point behind the leader in the boys’ under 12 section.
      – FM Ray Robson has 6.5 points and he is 1 point back of the leaders for boys’ under 14.
      – Simone Liao has 6 points and she is 1.5 point behind the leaders in the girl’s under 8 section.
      – Brian Luo has 7 points and he is 1.5 points behind the leaders in the boy’s under 10 section.

      From what I see, no other US players are still mathematically alive in the medal hunt.

        I think you forgot about NARODITSKY Daniel, who is 7.5 out of 9 and half point behind the leader.
