      XI Miguel Najdorf Open in Warsaw

      Najdorf, Poland, Warsaw


      The XI Miguel Najdorf Open is taking place on 5th – 13th August at the Warsaw Sports and Recreation Centre in Poland.

      It is a 9 round Swiss open with a time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes to finish the game and 30 seconds increments from move one.

      Tournament A is reserved for players with an Elo rating of at least 2000. It has a prize fund of 16.000 PLN (approx. 5.000 US dollars), with 4.000 PLN reserved for the winner.

      50 players are registered in the main section. Polish GM Kacper Piorun is the first seed.
