      Zadar Open Round 8

      International Chess Tournament Zadar Open is taking place on 11-17th December at the Falkensteiner Hotels & Resorts Borik in Zadar, Croatia.

      The tournament consists of two groups, Open A for the players rated above 2300 FIDE and Open B for the players rated U2200. Players rated between 2200-2300 can choose the group in which they would prefer to compete.

      IM Matej Šebenik, who is continuing the fine form, and GM Hrvoje Stević scoring a fine victory in round eight are joint leaders with 6.0 points each. Full standings bellow.

      Open B has 80 participants. Senior IM Rikard Medančić and MK Ivo Jelečević are leading after the penultimate round with 6.5 points each.
