I played in both the World Open and Miami Open. Miami Open was organized much better. Blas Lugo did a great job.

that is a lot of money in an under 1300 section. The good old days when I was new at chess. Now I have to play the strong players.

I think Sept is hurricane season.

I would consider holding it at the coldest time of year as a winter get a way from up north. But I can only assume Sept is the best time.

I do not like re entry. I consider them cheating and I have taken a vow to never play any tournament with re entry. Another cheating idea begun by Bill Goichberg. It gives too big an advantage to the stronger players. I am not a stronger player. I need some luck to win. The strong player has to be knocked out twice. They only have to knock me out once. So it is cheating. It should be banned by USCF instead of run by the President. It makes the entire USCF Corrupt. Good old bill goichberg.
