      11th Open International D’Echecs de La Fere

      Chess tournament, France


      The 11th Open International D’Echecs de La Fere is set to take place on 7-14th July at the Drouot space, 18 rue des Bigors, 02800 La Fere, France.

      The 9-round Swiss open will be played according to FIDE rules and draw offers will not be allowed before the 25th move.

      The open La Fere is recognized by the French Chess Federation as one of the best 8 tournaments in France. Organizers are Quentin DECOTTE and Olivier THOMAS, chief arbiter is IA Emmanuel VARINIAC.

      The prize fund of 6500 EUR will be distributed as 1st: 1100 €, 2nd: 750 €, 3rd: 550 €, 4th: 350 €, 5th: 250 €, 6th: 200 €, 7th: 100 €, 8th: 100 €.
      In addition, there will be special money prizes for the top women, veteran and elo categories.
