      18 norms achieved at EICC

      European Individual Championship, GM norm, IM norm


      Norms at the European Individual Chess Championship
      18 players with high achievements in Aix les Bains

      The 12th European Individual Championship was held in Aix les Bains, France from March 21 to April 3. A total of 393 players participated and among them were – 163 GM, 64 IM, 31 FM, 4 WGM, 5 WIM, 2 WFM, which meant good opportunity for the norm seekers at the competition.

      A total of 18 norms were achieved, 6 GM norms and 12 IM norms.

      GM norms : Daniil Dubov, Sasa Martinovic, Peter Michalik, Artem Smirnov, Kevin Terrieux, Anthony Wirig

      IM norms : Radu-Marian Doros, Nicolai Getz , Clément Houriez, Hagen Poetsch , Dany Raznikov, Andrea Stella, Jolanta Zawadska, Robin-Alexandru Dragomirescu, Jan Rindlisbacher, Naim Sahitaj, Alexandru-Ovidiu Stanciu, Nuri Kambez
