      18th Mid-Winter Classic, Massachusetts

      Hi chess fans,

Round one of the 18th annual MidWinter Classic is less than 15 hours away and I wanted to let you know about WMCA’s first tournament of the 2009 season… the 18th Annual MidWinter Classic taking place tomorrow in Florence. This has been a very popular location with our membership in previous years: easy to get to; comfortable accomadations and nearby accessible eateries!

We hope to see you at this, the first of TWELVE major events sponsored by the Western Massachusetts Chess Association, Inc., a 501(c7) not for profit organization entering it’s sixty-third year of existence of promoting the royal game, the chess clubs and players who reside in the western half of the state.

      Best wishes,
      Frank Kolasinski

      President, Western Massachusetts Chess Association
