Susan it is amazing that you are doing so much for scholastic chess and for encouraging female chess players. Keep up the excellent work.

Susan, is the immense increase in the popularity of scholastic chess unique to America, or is it also happening in Europe?

I think worldwide but especially here in the U.S. I think it will be even bigger in the coming year because of chess on TV.

        Best wishes,

Hey Susan! I just wanted you to know how greatful I am that you are working so hard to promote chess, especially scholastic chess, making it more popular among women and for kicking so much butt for our great nation, the USA. I’m so sick of the myth that only male nerds and old men play chess. Not only does it make us targets for bullies, but it also hurts the sex appeal of chess players, especially male ones. By the way, I think it would be a good idea to petition the government or a TV station to start up a chess station. I think Chess TV would be a good name for it.

        Truly,
        David
