        What happened to Nakamura, Kamsky, Goletiani, and Shahade?

        The same thing that happened to Benjamin, Christiansen, deFirmian, and Stripunsky.

        The list of players declined invitations:

        Kamsky, Nakamura, Benjamin, Christiansen, Ehlvest (from original ratings list)
        Stripunsky, Ibragimov, Fishbein, Goldin (from substitute ratings list), Arnold (US Junior Champion) for men (the whole 10 players RR tournament)and
        Goletiani, Baginskaite (from original ratings list) and Melekhina (from substitute players list, how can you not to give a wild card for her, but used as a substitute?) for women;
        plus questionable local invitees;

        By the way thank you Mr.Berry for your help, in other way probably USCF could run the championship among USCF employees in Nashville office for the prize a cup of black coffee.
