Due to the great response to this year’s NC Open, we have been forced to find more hotel rooms. It is literally 50 feet from the front door of the Hampton Inn to the Holiday Inn where the tourney will be held. And they are giving us the same room rate of $79 for chess players.

This hotel is brand spankin’ new, clean and conmfortable. So make your last minute reservations at the Hampton Inn Airport. Their phone number is 704-394-6455. 2 GMs and 4 IMs already registered. Dang, that’s a tough field! Having the money guaranteed is a plus.
