      5 qualified for the 2009 SPNI

      Lubbock, SP National Invitational for Girls, SPICE, Texas Tech


      Linda Diaz (NY), Joanne Koong (CA), Brianna Guillen (TX), Emily Nguyen (TX), Christina Kao (CA)

      The winners of the girls’ sections receive automatic qualifying spots to the 2009 Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls, the most prestigious all-girls national championship in the U.S. All qualifiers will receive free accommodation and meals during the SPNI, which will take place on July 26-31 at Texas Tech University in Lubboc, Texas.

      The winner of the SPNI will receive a full tuition and fees scholarship to Texas Tech University, value at around $75,000-$80,000! Second and third place finishers will receive a partial scholarship, value up to $36,000 each.

        Is not clear for me, of what event you are talking about. The SP World Open for Girls and Boys OR the SPNI?
