      8th and 9th round of the Schachbundesliga

      The most interesting match of the weekend probably will take place in Berlin, where the host team meets OSG Baden-Baden. After signing a handful of new players – in particular Levon Aronian – Berlin is one of the major surprises in the current season.       The top match of the weekend takes place in Emsdetten, where Werder Bremen meets Mülheim on Sunday. These are the best teams after Baden-Baden, so expect a bunch of world class players facing each other.

      In Solingen the host team is odds-on favourite against Wattenscheid and Dortmund. The rest of the teams in this venue is fighting against relegation. In this regard especially the match between Remagen and Dortmund is very crucial.

      In Dresden the host team and König Tegel (Berlin) expect their rivals Eppingen and Hockenheim. The last-mentioned are highly-favoured in these matchups.
