      8th International Lyon Trophy

      The 8th International Lyon Trophy was held on 26-30th December 2013 at 3 rue de l’Angile 69005 Lyon, France.

      The tournament was played over nine rounds of Swiss system with 81 participants. The total prize fund was 4000 EUR.

      The tournament was organizer by the Lyon Olympique Echecs and chief arbiter was Gerard Hernandez.

      Final standings:

      1. GM Fabien Libiszewski 2535 Echecs Club Montpellier – 7½
      2-3. IM Philippe Brochet 2391 Echiquier Commingeois and Emilien N’Guyen 2153 Lyon Olympique Echecs – 7
      4-9. IM Mehrshad Sharif 2448 Esbarres Bonnencontre Echecs, Joachim Iglesias 2248 Vandoeuvre-Echecs, FM Sebastien Joie 2363 Cercle d’Echecs de l’Agglomération Anné, FM Lucas Nicolantonio 2338 Echiquier Grenoblois, WGM Pauline Guichard 2350 C.E. de Bois-Colombes and FM Manuel Valles 2397 Echiquier Centre Vaucluse – 6½ etc
