      900th win!

Bobby Knight, Red Raiders, Texas Tech

      Knight Gets 900th Win

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) – Bob Knight reached another milestone.

Texas Tech beat No. 10 Texas A&M 68-53 on Wednesday night, the Hall of Fame coach’s 900th career victory.

After the game fans chanted Knight’s name as he walked off the court to a thunderous ovation.

“You folks being here, seats being full for a change, really made a difference tonight,” Knight told the crowd before leaving the court.

Like when Knight surpassed former North Carolina coach Dean Smith on the Division I career list with win No. 880, he got his 900th on his second try.

The win was Tech’s third straight over an Aggies team ranked in the top 10. Last season the Red Raiders beat A&M twice by a combined four points. The Aggies were ranked No. 6 going into each game and were on nine- and five-game winning streaks, respectively.

The Aggies (15-2, 1-1 Big 12) looked frazzled and out of sync most of the game. A&M went 18-for-53 from the field in its worst shooting performance (34 percent) of the season and they turned the ball over a season-high 20 times.

Congratulations to Bobby and the Red Raiders!

bobby is too harsh and emotional about the players and the play. he might be a hall-of-famer for those who believe in winning at absolutely all costs.

to me, jumping up and down and across the line, throwing chairs on the court, yelling down players, being led off court by the refs… is no hall of fame.

        Nice never wins!

Only the strong are the best!

Coach Knight is his own hall of fame.

He needs no awards or stars on sidwalks. He is a living legend!

If you don’t like his methods, don’t complain your favorite college basketball team lost to Texas Tech! Coach Knight is a force in himself!

I met Coach Knight several times. He was always nice and polite to me.

Sigh, another poster dripping with intelligence. Monte Cristo, your mistatement is a racial slur. Really polite. Your mother should be proud of you.

There’s more to being a coach than just winning. For his repeated despicable behavior, Knight should have been barred from the NCAA for life. I am shocked that Susan of all people would have overlooked his past just because he was “nice and polite”.

This is why he is a winner and you are a pathetic anonymous loser. Go play with your chess pieces.

        Please drive through.
