      Fujairah International Chess Championship 2012

      The Fujairah Chess Club has the pleasure to invite the players to participate in the Fujairah International Chess Championship 2012 to be held in Fujairah City, United Arab Emirates from 12th November (arrival day) to 22nd November 2012 (departure day).

      Participation in the Master Tournament is open for the players rated 2200 or above. The lower rated players can compete in the Open Tournament.

      The playing venue will be in the Fujairah Exhibition Centre, which is located in Korthabah Road, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.

      The Fujairah International Chess Championship 2012 will be played in 9 rounds according to the Swiss System.

      Time control: 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole game with an incremental time of 30 seconds per move starting from move 1.

      The Organizing Committee will grant the prizes total of which is U.S.$ 50,500 for the Masters Tournament and AED 17,000 for the Open Tournament. 

      Master Tournament:

      1st place U.S. $ 15,000 + Big Cup
      2nd place U.S. $ 10,000 + Medium Cup
      3rd place U.S. $ 6,000 + Small Cup
      4th place U.S. $ 4,000
      5th place U.S. $ 3,000 etc (16 prizes)

      Open Tournament (Below ELO 2200):

      1st place ADE 5,000 + Big Cup
      2nd place ADE 3,000 + Medium Cup
      3rd place ADE 2,000 + Small Cup
      4th place ADE 1,000
      5th place ADE 1,000 etc (10 prizes, 1 US$ = 3.67 ADE)
