You have to implement the Sofia Rule to SPICe . Too many short draws .. It is a dissapointment for the chess fans who follow your tournament around the world, and it hurts your good name as a lover of the game for the game. Sorry for the critical opinion but that’s my feelings.
        Best wishes as always
        A Weiler

I agree completely with Weiler’s complaint. Out of 30 games in this group there are 24 draws, 5 decisive games, and one game still playing. It’s a drawing percentage in the 80’s!

Sofia rules are what the Democrats would recommend: Force the players to play long draws instead of short draws. I would prefer the Republican solution: Cut down on the appearance fee, increase the prize money, and watch the players fight for the money!
