      From 12th to 25th of November 2008
      Playing Venue: International Congress Center, Devrientstr. 10, 01067 DresdenSeating Plan
      Daily from 13th to 17th of November and 19th to 23rd of November at 3 p.m.
      Free Days: 18th and 24th of November
      Opening Ceremony: 12th of November, 8 p.m. in the Freiberger Arena, Magdeburger Str. 10, 01067 Dresden

      Participating Nations: 152
      Open Teams: 156
      Ladies Teams: 119
      Overall: 275
      Four Players per Team plus one Substitute
      550 Games per Day, all live in the Internet available at www.dresden2008.org

      Activs: 2.160, inklusive Arbiters, Attendants, Coaches, Substitutes, FIDE-Officials

      Expectes: About 1.000 Spectators per Day on location and many Millions in the Internet.

      9 Collateral Tournaments from 13th to 24th of November
      Cultural Programme, Exhibitions and Activities

      “World of Chess” with Exhibitions, Analysis, Evening Programme, Autograph Signings, Catering and full of Chess: Daily from 13th to 24th of November from Midday.

      Closing Ceremony: After the last round at 25th of November approximately at 4 p.m.
