        It’s a disastrous event financially for the USCF. They have only about 200 kids signing up.

        This year’s Youth Action:

        1. Place is not right;
        2. Time is not right.

        Change back to St. Louis next year !

        In stead, of criticizing you should come down and play. Texas players travel all over to play and don’t whine. 200+ players at $40 is nothing to cry about.
        I don’t believe anyone from St.Louis is registered. Oh, well only 2 from Missouri.

        Actually, I heard that they have over 400 players pre-registered. USCF is not the organizer and does not get all the entries. All entries with purchase orders go to the organizer.

        Since USCF is not the organizer, it is not a disastrous event financially for the USCF as USCF makes a profit no matter how many kids play.

        Fans always critize.
        Players always play.

        The difference?

        The fans are going to READ about the National Youth Action through a blog.

        The players are going to LIVE the experience of the National Youth Action on the Campus of the Univeristy of Texas Brownsville.
