      A Greek leads in Play like Topalov

      (Sofia, 17 May 2008) A Greek chess fan leads in the Play like Topalov game. The traditional game in which the fans from all over the world can try to guess the moves of the 19th World Champion from his games in M-Tel Masters runs again this year on http://www.mtelmasters.com/.

      The leader in the game before the tart of the ninth round of the super chess tournament today is Vasilis Kontos from Athens who participates under the nick name vakontos. For the eight rounds of the competition played so far he has guessed a total of 138 moves of Veselin Topalov.

      Second in the ranking presently is a fan from Estonia under the nick Volga17 that has guessed 118 moves of Topalov. Her real name is Valentina Golubenko. Third is a Bulgarian from the town of Stara Zagora under the name Bat Niki111 that has a score of 110 on his account.

      The Mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov will officially close M-Tel Masters 2008

      (Sofia, 17 May 2008) The Mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov will officially close the fourth edition of the traditional super chess tournament M-Tel Masters. The closing ceremony will begin at 20:00 local time on 18 May in the Central Military Club where the games from the tournament are played.

      The last, tenth round of M-Tel Masters 2008 will start tomorrow at 14:00.
