A special thank you to all!

      marriage, SPICE, Susan Polgar

I just arrived back to New York from my wonderful trip to Lubbock, Texas. As I opened my email, there were over 1,000 messages in the last 6 hours alone! Obviously I did not have a chance to read all of them yet but the majority of them so far are warm and thoughtful congratulations for the beginning of SPICE and my recent marriage.

I was planning to have a big announcement about the reception for our chess community for both occasions as soon as I can secure a firm date and appropriate venue at Texas Tech University. I wanted to create a spectacular event to celebrate these special moments. Unfortunately, some of our chess politicians decided to leak the news first for personal and political agenda. The good thing is nothing has changed. I will make additional announcements when they are available.

I am very thankful for the incredible support by Texas Tech and our chess community. I am looking forward to doing many positive things for our sport and I am so touched by the kind words from so many of you. Thank you again for all of your well wishes and encouragement!

      Best wishes,
      Susan Polgar

I’m sorry that you have to deal with …. like Sloan and Bogner instead of being able to enjoy your life while doing great things for chess. You’re both dynamic people and chess is very lucky to have both of you.

        Susan you keep amazing me.

I am so incredibly happy for both of you. You have become my 2 favorite chess people.

Paul is the 2nd nicest person on earth. Susan is the 1st nicest.

And I Must say in the picture you are absolutely radiant like a real angel from heaven. You make me a believer in angels now.

Nothing in this world compares with being in love. Nothing. It overshadows chess, Spice, and USCF. That feeling flowing through you is mind blowing and incredible beyone belief. It must be experienced to know what it is all about. May you always experience love.

And to Paul I want to say. Nice move there kid. You are such a special person. You now have been given an incredible gift. The gift of Susan with Love.

Some guys have all the luck. May luck always be with both of you.

        WOW what great news.

Susan and Paul. Thanks for visiting us down here and having such a wonderful trip. Once you guys left I had to take a rest. Running around with you guys was like tornado chasing – in a nice way of course. Everyone down here congratulates you guys on the marriage and we look forward to having you down here.

On behalf of the Tech folks, Jim Brink, Bill Marcy, Jon Whitmore, Margaret Lutherer, Phil Smith, Jo Ann Newman, Chase Watters, Jerry Perez and of course our own local tornado, Sheryl Santos, and many many more.

Only Sam Sloan and Hal Bogner can turn a happy marriage between 2 best friends into a political issue. And one has to wonder why people don’t trust or even like people like them. Congratulations Susan and go get them!

I am so glad you two have found each other in love. I wish you a successful marriage and what a team we have for chess! I had the honour of meeting Susan last year in person at the National Open and I hope this year I can meet Paul too! Thanx for all you have done for us in chess and I hope you had a great honeymoon!

Barney, forget about Bogner. Bogner will always be Bogner. I would never do business with this guy or with any company he’s involved with. I don’t trust him at all and I’m not the only one who feels this way. This guy is known for leaking private messages and email for his own agenda. He’s endorsing Stephen Jones and he got Jones to run. He stands to benefit a great deal if the election goes a certain way. Bogner is only for Bogner and no one else. If you want to know more about Bogner, ask Marty G. of ICC. He’ll tell you about what Bogner did to that server.

Best wishes to the both of you and good luck in the upcoming USCF election. I’ve no doubt that SPICE will be a great success and will have a positive impact on the development of chess in the U.S.
