She’s cute and obviously better than Kosteniuk.

I’m glad Wesley didn’t get distracted. She’s easy on the eyes, I admit

Smart and pretty, what a rare combination. I’m rooting for her!

Sasha Kosteniuk is definitely prettier and much more alluring. And she’s the current world women’s champion. In that event, she totally outplayed Kosintseva in one of the early rounds. Kosintseva is simply having a good run in this tournament. I’m sure she will have a much harder time against the men in closed events.

How do you get a GM norm? The rating of 2715 seems more than many GMs these days. So why is she still an IM with such a good rating?

Do they still have WGMs or did they finally get rid of that stupid system? I never understood the need for WGM titles as opposed to GM titles. Chess is not soccer or basketball…

Do you know chess at all? Her performance rating is 2700, she is no where close to 2700 in rating. She is not 2600 or even 2500 yet. Her current is 2497! Learn something before you start throwing out nonsense.

**Kosintseva is simply having a good run in this tournament**

if it is possible to “simply have a good run” at Aeroflot. It is not your typical swiss, one has to play 2600+ GMs every single day. Aeroflot is an extremely tough test that tells more than rating points. Many elite players tried to play there and couldn’t win.

If you insist on comaprison with Kostenyuk, the latter is more accomplished. But I hope to see Tatjana a ladies WC sooner or later.

So she drew agains Alexandrov with black and finishes +2 (2.5 pts above expected). Great performance and terrific games.

@ the person who posted after satranc:

I may not know anything about chess, but I do know a bit about etiquette/manners. Have a nice day!;)
