Why do so many have problems with Kosteniuk? This was a part of the conversation on ICC today.

AustinTrainer kibitzes: maybe she distracted him
        Lera kibitzes: maybe
Lera kibitzes: exposed that shoulder, played with her hair
GunSlinger kibitzes: not too hard, she is quite fine
        Lera kibitzes: only reasonable explanation
Beddathanme kibitzes: she stuck her leg under his pantleg and tickled him
Lera kibitzes: funny thing she isnt even that cute
Lera kibitzes: but kamsky i think is pretty nerdy and is divorced now too, so he is pretty desperate
        Pavkata82 kibitzes: jealous people
        Pavkata82 kibitzes: haha
Beddathanme kibitzes: Lera are you blind????
AustinTrainer kibitzes: we are kosteniuk fans also
Beddathanme kibitzes: She is very cute
AustinTrainer kibitzes: therefore, we are not jealous
AustinTrainer kibitzes: she was in the world blitz, right?
Lera kibitzes: i am not blind, just dont think she is so hot, esp by rusisan standards
Lera kibitzes: u are blind perhaps
AustinTrainer kibitzes: Bedd, maybe we are just old?
AustinTrainer kibitzes: and everything starts looking better
Beddathanme kibitzes: she used to be a model
Lera kibitzes: she is so average in russia
Lera kibitzes: for chess plyaers she is of course beatiful because chess nerds never seen a chick before…but we are talking objectively right
Beddathanme kibitzes: heres the thing lera, in chess she is like a goddess because how many women are good looking?
Beddathanme kibitzes: what a bad stereotype chess=nerdy
Beddathanme kibitzes: i never understood that
Lera kibitzes: most guys there got zero game
Lera kibitzes: so to them kosteniuk seems hot
mycroft kibitzes: sorry folks… she just isn’t that hot
mycroft kibitzes: there are many many other female chess players who are far better looking
Lera kibitzes: but if u normal u have girls that are better looking than kosteniuk and its no big deal
mycroft kibitzes: well she does promote herself as being hot, so I think it’s fair to criticize.
Beddathanme kibitzes: someone thinks she’s more than average if she had done modeling outside of chess
Lera kibitzes: i havent seen her model outside of chess but for russian girls is average at best
Beddathanme kibitzes: so most russian are butt-ugly then, according to your logic…ok, I gotcha
Lera kibitzes: you want me to tell the real reason for her modeling?
Lera kibitzes: she was growing up at a very tough time in russia, the wild 90’s we call it…lots of poverty, her father banked on chess and modeling to promote her
Lera kibitzes: the most important thing was for her to find a rich husband, which is did and now she is all set without modeling
