American Express, Donation, Susan Polgar Foundation

Thanks to Mr. Jim F, a devoted chess Dad, the Susan Polgar Foundation is now signed up with the GivingExpressSM program with American Express.

American Express developed the GivingExpressSM program to provide its Cardmembers with a convenient way to donate to their favorite charities. American Express has partnered with GuideStar and JustGive to create this site. GuideStar provides a comprehensive database of over 1,000,000 public charities in the U.S. that are registered with the IRS. JustGive processes donations and disburses funds to charities based on donor recommendations.

As an American Express Card member, you may choose to donate in one of two ways: a monetary donation or you may choose to donate Membership Rewards points.

Click here to go to the Susan Polgar Foundation GivingExpressSM page.

In a period of 2 hours, there were 17 posts soliciting donations from various organizations.

As you can see, I have declined to put even banner ads or paid advertising. That has been a policy since day 1 of this blog.

7 of the 17 posts are various chess organizations. Unfortunately, due to the policy of this blog, I could not choose to publish one and not others.

Therefore, all of the soliciting posts were not published. Thank you for your understanding.

        Best wishes,
        Susan Polgar
