Thanx for this! I love anything on Fischer. I was a fan of his since he was a kid all the way to becoming World Champion. Playing over and studying his games, I still think he reached a most dominating peak in 1970-1972. The only other player to dominate so powerfully was Paul Morphy. I do not know if we shall ever see a World Champion eclipse his rivals as these two did.
How about this one: “In his entire chess career, Capablanca suffered fewer than 40 losses in serious games. He was undefeated for over eight years of active, world-class competition, from February 10, 1916, when he lost from a superior position against Oscar Chajes; to March 21, 1924, when he lost to Richard Réti in the New York International tournament.” – Wikipedia
