      Levon Aronian climbs 3rd in Tata Steel Chess 2013

      PanARMENIAN.Net – Tata Steel Chess Festival is ongoing in Dutch town of Wijk aan Zee, with Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian climbing to the 3rd place.

      Aronian beat China’s Hou Yifan in round 8 to score 5 points. He currently falls only 1 point behind the leader Magnus Carlsen.

      The player will face off against Erwin l’Ami in round 9, due Jan 22.
