The 2013 Australian Open Chess Championships willt ake place on 2-13th January, 2013, at the norths chess club, norths, 12 Abbott Street, Cammeray NSW. The Championships are run by norths chess club on behalf of the Australian Chess Federation and NSWCA in accordance with ACF By-laws.

Australian Open Championship, 11 Rounds – FIDE Rated
Australian Minor – Under 1600, 11 Rounds
norths chess club Classic – Under 1800, 7 Rounds
Australian Lightning Championship
The prize fund is $14,000, the winner of the Open section will take $4,500.
