Strategy, risk, forecast, speed, concentration… will be more present than ever in Barcelona on the occasion of the celebration of the Magistral d’Escacs Ciutat de Barcelona – Casino de Barcelona 2009, which will count on the presence of a great number of chess masters coming from all over the world.
Barcelona welcomes you. This is a city with a long tradition as for the organization of high level events and the fact that tournaments like this keep on being consolidated and actually reach their 14th edition, is an excellent news.
Thus, as a Mayor of Barcelona, I am pleased to encourage you to participate or to witness the tournament that, once again is being possible thanks to the professional and enthusiastic effort of the Catalan Chess Federation.
