The 2nd Millionaire Chess Open is set to take place once again on October 8-12 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. First place in the Open section is a whopping $100,000 while the first place class prizes begin at $40,000. Last year’s event drew over 560 players from 44 countries and was featured in the New York Times, the BBC and all over sports talk radio.
GMs Hikaru Nakamura, Wesley So, Wang Hao, Le Liem, Sam Shankland, Ray Robson and Irina Krush have already signed up, along with many others. As was the case last year, the million-dollar prize fund is absolutely guaranteed! (regardless of number of entrants).
