      Main Event – October 6 – 7*, 2012
      Special 3 hour Camp – October 5, 2012

      Doubletree Hotel – Oakbrook, IL

      Over $100,000 in prizes and scholarships to Webster University!!

      **The winners of the Girls K-3, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12 will receive automatic invitations to the Susan Polgar Foundation Girls’ Invitational (late July 2013 at Webster University in St. Louis), which include free room and board!

      All winners from the 2012 SPWO (Boys and Girls) will receive free entry to the 2013 SPWO!

        Best time to come to Chicago is in the Fall. Now is perfect.

        This will probably be one of the most exciting tournament next weekend in Chicago for young players who wants a real cerebral challenge in the k-12 section.

        More nation’s top juniors should come and play. The list is long but not impressive rating-wise.

        I think more top juniors will start participating in this tournament by next year. Sometime it takes one to join and others will follow. Ratings don’t always dictate the presumptive outcome and that’s what make chess exciting.
