      Big surprises at Ruy Lopez Festival

      The 1st Ruy Lopez International Festival takes place in Zafra, birthplace of Ruy Lopez, from March 16th until March 25th, 2007. After 6 rounds, the surprising leader is GM Sargissian of Armenia, ahead of former World Knockout Champion Ponomariov and other big names such as Sasikiran and Sokolov, etc.
