Susan, since everybody knows its better to be WHITE! how come WHITE never gets penalized for CONCEDING A DRAW TO black? lets say a -.25 or something like that? “im confused” with all theses different scoring systems!! Susan is everything alright at chessbase.com? they stating to “mix me up”! hey this bloggin is pretty cool! Thankya! hehehe.

        “im confused”

Yes, you are. Only a moron sees discrimination in the colours of the chess pieces.

        “im confused”

And rightly you are. These systems of scoring were invented by people who don’t know how to play chess, but are by some other qualities running the shows. Even though these people should not be in chess, they are and will always be, making chess players their puppets forever. Chess players, many being as dumb as one can get, allow this situation as long as they are paid money.

Yo chill anon! You can have the WHITE PIECES all im beggin for is an EQUAL OPPROTUNITY at that first move! then we will see if WHITE has that continuing plus over equal they been pushing for centuries with the “old chess”.Yo Susan, Kenneth Regan and i played a black move first game and he barely, like chessbase says, “hung in there” for a draw with WHITE!! can u believe that! against a weak master like me!!! Yeah not so easy for white to get a big edge now huh? hehehe. yall too much!

It’s not white per se who has the advantage, it’s the one who has the first move that has the advantage (which traditionaly happens to be the one with the white pieces).

Someone has to begin first, or you think that players should first engage into a fist fight over the right to the first move???

If black would move first (like your stupid proposal) then it would be black who would have the advantage. Not because it’s black, but because he moved first. So what would be the diference??? NONE. One side would still have the advantage – the one who moves first.

We are not going to change +500 years of tradition because some idiot thinks that white having the first move is somehow discriminatory for black.

Besides the chess pieces are not always black and white, but come in different coulours. Also I have never seen a man who would be WHITE and I never seen a man who would be BLACK.

If you have inferiority complex because of the colour of your skin, then this is your problem. But leave chess alone.
