        1. …. f6+
        2. Qxf6 Qg3#

        if 2. Kxf6, then 2… Qxf4+ 0-1

without …f6, black would be lost!

did white blunder, or did Kuzmin force this position?

missed white’s Kg4, but it too loses.

        2. Kg4 Qg2+
        3. Qg3 f5+
        4. Kf4 e5+!

other moves by white lose the queen.

        f6 Kg4 (best)
        Qg2 Qg3
        f5 Kf4
        e5 de

Alternatives for black all lose queen or get mated

Seems to me the start has to be f6

        1. …..f6
        2. Kg4

This is forced as Qf6 loses immediately to Qg3#

        2. …..Qg2 (Qg1 3. Kh3, then?)
        3. Qg3 f5
        4. Kf4 Qd2
        5. Ke5 Qe3
        6. Kf6 and now what?

The other idea is to not go for a mating net, but seal up the king side with 1. …f6, exchange queens, and get the black king over to stop/win the passed a-pawn, but this does not work:

        1. …..f6
        2. Kg4 Qg2
        3. Qg3 Qg3
        4. Kg3 Kg7
        5. a4 Kf7
        6. a5 Ke7
        7. a6 Kd7
        8. a7 Kc6 and black is too late.

F7-F6, if white Queen takes F6, then Black Queen moves to G3 mate.

If White’s King takes F6 pawn, then Black Queen takes White Queen.

        It cost me some minutes:
        1. … f6+
        2. Kg4 Qg2+
        3. Qg3 f5+
        4. Kf4 Qd2++

Once you have figured out, it looks easy, but it was difficult to find.

Stupid mistake in my previous post: after 4. … Qd2+ 5. Ke5 the Queen doesn’t get to c7 of course…
So, we have to improve the idea: instead of 4. … Qd2+ we play
        4. … e5+!
