Well, it is the world’s media that is bringing attention to this and the FIDE President has not helped dispel negative perceptions by his words and actions which are of course damaging to the game but is on the other hand somewhat expected of today’s FIDE.

Man, Kirsan has really drunk the Kool-Aid. Most countries in the world right now accept the idea that Ghadaffy is currently bombing his own cities mercilessly. It is seriously naive to think that meeting with Ghadaffy to “promote peace through chess” will do any good, because G’s goal is not peace. His goal is to crush the uprising that wants him out of power.

I don’t think Ilyumzhinov realizes the complete media blackout of any pro-Gaddafi views or points of view in the west.

CNN are a disgrace. At least with Fox News, they don’t pretend to be unbiased. But CNN do, and they are corrupt to the core. For a different perspective, look at these:

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3A5jfK2U1Lg

Maybe NATO will keep us safe? NATO are the biggest terrorist organization of ALL. Only NATO can get away with murdering thousands of civilians and telling them it’s for their own good. It would be like Al Qaida claiming that 9/11 was done to free the American people from their ruthless dictator.

NATO have been caught using depleted uranium many times in order to radioactively poison the regions. US soldiers sit at home and kill people with their “drones”.

So Ilyumzhinov is right if he does support Gaddafi, but I don’t know if he should be attaching himself to any cause anyway since it has nothing to do with FIDE. I also don’t like when celebrities attach themselves to causes… a lot of the time they gain hugely from it themselves so it seems a bit of a con. Bob Geldof for example has made millions out of his “charity” work.

Ilyumzhinov wants everyone to help support bloody, terrorist dictators.

It is completely impossible to understand that such a person can be the leader of FIDE. Or at least, it should have been impossible to understand. Kirsan – phone home. You can borrow a mobile from ET.
