Some big upsets. Let’s see if Carlsen can win both games to take commanding lead.

Also, I think Topalov had his second game won against Anand.

Finally!! Someone in the lead who actually deserves to be called Champion. Not one of those Draw Masters people around here are so happy to follow.

Looks like Carlsen got beat bad in his second game.

Its only World Champion Anand who is alone at top with 4 points followed by four guys on 3.5.

Karjakin is a true match for Carlsen!

Quite a smashing win and there will be others to be seen! 🙂

Yeah when you blunder as badly as Magnus did, you resign or give away your Queen, like Magnus did. 🙂

Magnus was simply outplayed by a young opponent at least as good as the Norwegian chessplayer.

I guess both of them represent the future of chess in the years to come, before other stars rise up to pale the sun!

Let’s see it done… chess is fun!!! 🙂

Please. Karjakin wins one rapid game because Magnus blunders and suddenly he’s ‘at least as good’ as Magnus?? That must be why he lost so convincingly in the blind game.

Why don’t you wait for some real games, before declaring the age of Karjakin.

There was a big upset in rapid games! Why? How can this be analysed ?

Yes, Anand is starting to dominate and put some distance between himself and Kramnik with the rest of the pack.

How many gms have paid money for getting the title?

I think many are fake and corrupt gms, and others, who would always sell their game for good money, or sometimes even for free, when they can afford it. An investigation should be made, they have enjoyed the benefits too long. Especially former communist countries are full of fraudulent players. Oh, I hate them so.

Once again, Anand will draw until he gets the crown. There is no fighting spirit left in him…..just a drawing soul.
