      Carlsen is the player of the round. He defeated Mamedyarov in both games. In the mean time, Karjakin only scored 1/2 point in 2 games against Topalov.

      Aronian continues to lead this event. But after 2 straight wins over Mamedyarov, Carlsen is now in clear second with Leko surging to third.

        With his win over Anand, albeit in rapid, Carlsen has wins over everyone that counts. He MIGHT be able to dominate the Chess World soon.

        Carlsen, unlike Aronian, Karjakin, Radjabov and many others doesn’t seem be slowing down towards a plateau, actually he seems to start gaining momemtum. This could get really interesting in the next few years.

        I am really (positiv!) surprised by Peter’s result.
        Why doesn’t he also play that well and undrawish?
