Baku, Fineko/abc.az. By January 2012 Education Ministry of Azerbaijan will solve the issue of teaching chess in pilot schools as separate subject with Chess Federation.

Education Minister Misir Mardanov has reported that presently international experience of teaching chess at schools is being studied and relevant schoolbooks on this subject have been purchased.

” We are not going to make al the pupils grand masters but want to inculcate chess skills in children. The ones wishing to study it professionally will be taught at chess schools “,- M. Mardanov said.
