      Our friend from Chess Vista has a special contest. Here are the rules:

      Chess Eyes – End of Year Quiz 2006

      31.12.2006 In ChessVista’s End of Year Quiz 2006 you are challenged to guess 16 chess eyes. Guess which chess players are on the photos, mail the answers to ChessVista and win the Chess Portraits Book 64 Schaakportretten (Frits Agterdenbos, 1984). There are only 1000 copies of this book in the world! The Chess Eyes End of Year Quiz 2006 is open to everyone. The winner is the person who submits the most correct answers. In case of a tie, a drawing of lots will decide. Only one entry is permitted per person and must be emailed to info@chessvista.com. Entrants must supply their first and last names and a valid email address as the winner will be contacted by email. The Quiz closes at 12 midday GMT on 15 january 2007. Solutions and declaration of the winner will be on 31 January 2007.

        The only one I could guess was Kamsky; his eyes are very distinctive.
