      Mongolian Chess Federation Competition

      The Mongolian Chess Federation plans to host two chess competitions and a championship in January, 2010.

      A Chess competition named for the Mongolian chess clubs of juniors was held in “Mongeni” School from January 8-10.

      The State Chess Championship for juniors was organized by the Chess Federation in Ulaanbaatar to be held on January 15-24, 2010.

      In accordance with the Swiss system, the third international chess competition will take place in Selenge aimag on January 15-17.

      The best players from Mongolia, Buryatia, and Russia will engage each other in the international competition. The winner of the competition will get Tg700,000, along with their gold medal. The Silver medalist will take Tg350, 000, the bronze medalist will win Tg150,000 and the fourth place finisher will receiveTg80,000.
